KRD Sports Cards for Doctoral Students

Dear Doctoral Candidates,
I am writing this email to you with great pleasure, as we have something to be proud of! As you may remember, in December during the Electoral Convention in Lublin, we raised the issue of organizing a sports card sales system directed at all Polish doctoral candidates, and in connection with this, I have good news for you:
It has just launched!
- Why Medicover specifically?
After careful analysis and conducting detailed negotiations with many providers, Medicover Sport was selected as our partner. The choice of Medicover Sport as a sports card provider was made based on objective criteria and after conducting a transparent negotiation process. This decision was made in the best interest of the organization and its members, taking into account both financial aspects and the quality of services offered.

- Go to: https://medicoversport.pl/pakiety/krd
- Enter the password: KRDMS2025
- Click “Register” at the top right (yellow button).
- Important! Registration usually lasts until the 15th day of each preceding month – if you don’t manage to register, the next registration will be from the 1st day of the next month (May) until May 15, and then the membership begins in the following month (in this case: June).
- In the first month (April), we have the possibility to register until April 25! If you manage to register and pay for the membership before then, you can use it starting from May 1.
- Choose the package that interests you and fill in all the fields requesting data (IMPORTANT – the email used for registration must be a university email – in your university domain, e.g., @uwr.edu.pl – otherwise it will not be possible to purchase the package and participate in the subscription).
- If you plan to add an accompanying person (or a child), select the package that interests them and fill in the section regarding their data.
- At the very bottom, there is a “Pay” button that will redirect you to the payment page – you attach your card there and thus start a monthly subscription (and thereby authorize Medicover to collect a specified amount each month). Quoting the website: “The minimum subscription period is 1 month. Cancellations and package changes can only be made in the 1st month of the subscription with effect for the next month. If there is no cancellation, the package is automatically extended for another 1 month. These changes can be made between the 1st and 15th day of the month.”
- After this step and after paying for the first month (along with a handling fee of one złoty for attaching the card), everything is ready Further instructions on how to use the packages are included on the website (where you are logged in) and in the attached files! The possibility of using the purchased card starts on May 1, 2025!
- An urgent request to all of you
For the entire agreement to start and be maintained, at least 100 people registered in the system are required. Fortunately, the contract is for an indefinite period, so I hope it will remain permanently available to doctoral candidates across the country
