Individual Research Plan (IPB) – new templates

According to the Act of 20 July 2018, The Law on Higher Education and Science, doctoral students, in consultation with the doctoral student supervisor(s), shall draw up and submit IPB within 12 months of the date of the commencement of education. For the majority of you it means the necessity of submitting IPB until the 1st of October 2024 at the latest.  

The new form template is available here – please do not use last year’s template.

If an assistant supervisor is appointed, the IPB shall be presented after the provision of opinion by that supervisor. The implementation of the plan shall be subject to mid-term evaluation in the middle of the period of education. The approved IPB may be amended following the mid-term evaluation, under the conditions laid down in § 29 of the Rules and Regulations of the School or at the request of the doctoral student after the expiry of the period of suspension of study. In particularly justified cases, the IPB may be changed at the request of the doctoral student, before the start of the mid-term evaluation.

The completed document, including the signatures of the doctoral student and the supervisor, must be submitted in person to the Secretariat of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at 56/66 Dobra Street (room 0.108) until the 1st of October 2024.
