Heurystyki – “Space, Society, Power”

The “Heurystyki” seminar was initiated by the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, and includes four meetings per year. During each meeting, young researchers – supported by their academic supervisors – present the results of their research and take part in discussions with the audience.
The upcoming seminar, titled “Space, Society, Power”, will be held on October 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Old Library (BUW) Auditorium. The event is organized by the Doctoral School of Social Sciences. During the meeting, the following doctoral candidates will present their research projects:

Michał Macidłowski, supervised by dr. hab. Sławomir Żółtek, Professor of the University:
“Władza, kara i społeczeństwo: filozoficznoprawne podstawy koncepcji karania w świetle nowoczesnych paradygmatów prawa karnego”. -
Jan Goliński, supervised by dr. hab. Wojciech Dziemianowicz, Professor of the University:
“Centra lokalne – problem metropolitalny? – Szanse i wyzwania rozwoju policentryczności Metropolii Warszawskiej”. -
Agnieszka Kozakoszczak, supervised by dr. hab. Mikołaj Pawlak, Professor of the University:
“Asystentura międzykulturowa w systemie edukacji formalnej i w społecznościach szkolnych”. -
Maria Januszczyk, supervised by dr. hab. Adam Niewiadomski, Professor of the University:
“Gdy wolność staje się iluzją – o zwierzętach w niewoli spektaklu”.
