Inauguration Ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year

Dear Doctoral Students,

We warmly invite you to the inauguration ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Doctoral Schools of the University of Warsaw, which will take place on 3 October 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Old Library (BUW) Auditorium.

This is a special moment as you join the community of researchers at the University of Warsaw. The inauguration is an opportunity to solemnly begin a new stage of your academic journey, to meet representatives of the University authorities and the academic community, and to experience the unique atmosphere of our University.

During the event, the inaugural lecture entitled Interdisciplinarity and the Good Life will be delivered by Dr Ivan Dimitrijević (Faculty of “Artes Liberales”).

We will be very pleased to welcome you as doctoral students of the University of Warsaw.
